Around the sea

A fantastic travel in the Adventure of the Seas cruise going to the Lesser Antilles -little islands around the Caribbean- was my first travel experience. It sailed at evening from San Juan and every passenger was outside looking at how we moved away from the island.

Our pretty cold stateroom had everything a normal hotel room would have, also including a strong-box (yeah..) and occasional 'gifts'.

The housekeepers of the room were very nice. Part of their job was leaving little 'gifts': mint chocolates (ew >_<) and towels in form of animals around the room!

My stateroom was on the floor on top of the 24/7 coffee-bakery. There's where I ate the best pizza ever. And as I always kept going there, an Asian employer even learned my whole name.

Various floors seen from the elevator

Our day usually consisted of going to the buffet, walking to explore around the cruise -we didn't see it completely-, visiting the island we stopped on each day, going to the coffee-bakery place, and playing golf.

Pool center with the gym on top

When going to the buffet, we were almost always received by the same person. My sister and I once stopped to talk with him which was very funny with our mediocre english. Even so, we were able to understand each other and also of guessing his age (25 years old).  When ending up the chat, he told me I should trust that my english would get better, that I should keep practicing. Thanks goodness, he was right (as you see)!

Clearly, there was everything at the buffet, including a beautiful whole view to the opening sea. It was relaxing to sit down to eat in front of such majestic view.
Although it wasn't always like that. In one of the nights, we felt the cruise moving a lot. We went to the buffet and it was impossible to ignore how everything on the table was moving from side to side incontrollably, as we sat down we also were moving from side to side. The huge windows with the usually majestic view now was very dark, it was scary to be able to see also the dark waves hitting the cruise. We asked our waitress what was happening; she joked that sharks smelled puertorican blood and they were moving the cruise like that. But then she explained how it was being then a stormy night with big and strong waves that were affecting the cruise's movement. Shouldn't have been something to worry about. After all we went to our rooms and I sat down on the bed to watch tv. After 5 minutes the tv controller felt down from the bed, because of the cruise's movement, and then I followed it down to the floor. How great...

After breakfast at the buffet, we explored around the ship. We saw the captain's place, some dancing clubs, a casino, the ship deck, stores around, all the recurring views around the ship, the pools' center (with a surfing spot), spa, gymnasium, restaurants, gaming center, teenager's club, theaters, and so on other paces we weren't able to see.

                                               Inside the casino's floor

                                       Climbing Wall and volleyball court

Also, for you people that travel with kids but would like some 'free' time', cruises usually have a kids care center.

So as you see, a cruise offers a lot of activities. We were able to see some theater plays, comedy shows, singing presentations, carnival presentations, auto shows, and a lot of variety of people and cultures showing up everywhere.

Scheveningen trip

Hi, everyone! We travelled to Amsterdam on the last text. I think it's time to go to the coast. I don't know a beautiful seaside here. I remembered something when I thought that.

"Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands, but state building is in The Hague (originally Den Haag)."

I started to search about Den Haag after that. Yes, there is a beautiful beach in Den Haag. The Netherlands has two nice capitals.

From Amsterdam to Den Haag is roughly 25 minutes. I felt sea's smell when I arrived the city. Its the most famous beach is called by Scheveningen. It seems difficult to articulate, even Germans and Dutch people has very different two pronunciation about the city.

Scheveningen Beach is behind me and it's waiting for me to swim.
Hah, no! Here is the Netherlands! It's not easy to find warm water.

Before I went to the beach, I explored around the city. There is the sanitary. You don't have to worry if you're taken short. Den Haag's sanitaries work for you 7/24

I suppose everything is cyclist in this country. It's impossible not to see bicycle.
Also there are a lot of cafes to have fun or drink something. It's also a good choice to eat Dutch waffle.

Who wants to ride a bike with me?

This structure is not a state building. It's a hotel which name is Steigenberger Kurhaus. This hotel was built between of 1884 and 1885. It has 120 rooms. If you'd like to book a room, here is: Steigenberger Kurhaus

From 01/08/14 to 07/08/14 a room prices 1620 € for only a person.

Den Haag is a wonderful choice for a beautiful seascape.
Noiseless and peaceful...

You have also bungee jumping and windsurfing options over there.

Tot ziens Scheveningen!
(See you, Scheveningen!)

Amsterdam trip

I had been at Amsterdam in 2013's summer. I haven't visited the USA yet but I bet Amsterdam has the most free lifestyle in the world. Amsterdam impressed me. You may be curious why I thought like that. Are you ready? Let's start!

Amsterdam, here we go!

Amsterdam is capital of The Netherlands. It's the largest, most beautiful and most colorful city in The Netherlands. Amsterdam is generaly known as Venice of the North part of Europe because of the nice canals. There are a lot of bridges to see.

When I arrived at Amsterdam, I was able to see a big population from every nation. It was such a diversity. Amsterdam could definetely be your city if you like to know about new cultures, new languages and to meet new people. I met different people from Suriname, Russia, Algeria, Turkey, Peru, Bulgaria ...
Its offical language is Dutch but you don't have to worry if you don't know Dutch. Because almost all Dutch people can speak and understand English well and even they speak German perfectly.
I couldn't see English words on signboards but it was not necessary. People is really friendly over there.

There is the airport called by Amsterdam Schiphol. It's 15 kms away from the city. The national career is KLM Airline. If you ae visiting Europe, you will be able to find cheap tickets on Easyjet.com
If you are European, you can enter to Amsterdam freely with your identity card.
You should check the Netherlands' visa policy if you are not Dutch or you don't have European passport: Wiki,Visa policy of the Netherlands

You may need a taxi sometimes: Deluxe Taxi Amsterdam

I travelled Amsterdam by car because of that I didn't need to use the train but if you'd like to use the train in Amsterdam, here is: Eurostar

If you have driver's licence, you will be able to rent a car and this way you can enjoy your trip.

Bicycle time!

Amsterdam is also bicycle's city. You should enjoy it! If you think you're good cyclist, why are you coming here? Rent a bike! Amsterdam is waiting for you with all its beauty...

I'm at Van Gogh Cafe. The ceilings of this cafe are covered with his paintings.

Groeten van mijn beste vriend
(Greetings from my best friend)

Break for a cup of coffee! I'm tired...

Don't come here without making canal cruise!

I'm at De Wallen. It's the most famous red light district in Amsterdam. It's near to Oudekerk(Old Church). There are many good girls, especially from East Europe. In my opinion there is the biggest sex industry in Europe. If you'd like sexual intercourse there, prices are usually between of 40€ and 50€ for 15 mins, sex and blowjob. Bargaining is your ability. You can try :)

There is Magna Plaza. There are various activities for any age.

Van Gogh Museum: Vangogh Museum

Rijksmuseum: Rijks Museum

Coffee shop in Amsterdam :)
